The course is designed for ST6–ST8 General Surgery trainees and surgical fellows who are preparing for or are eligible to sit the FRCS (General Surgery) exit examination. Candidates should have a solid foundation in general surgical knowledge.
We strictly limit each course to a maximum of 12 candidates. This ensures every delegate has sufficient individual station time and receives personalised examiner feedback throughout the day.
Absolutely. Many of our delegates attend after an unsuccessful attempt to strengthen their technique. We have experience supporting candidates through this and tailor feedback accordingly.
Stations cover all major general surgical topics: emergency surgery, upper GI, hepatobiliary, colorectal, breast, endocrine, vascular, and paediatric surgery, as well as critical care and perioperative management.
